Brass Down Under commenced its activities in August 2004 by supporting the visit to Sydney of Roger Webster, principal cornet with the famous Black Dyke Mills Band, in his performance with Pacific Brass.

In November 2004 BDU sponsored the exciting young cornet player Carl Saunders, a Salvation Army player from Cardiff, Wales. Carl featured in concerts with Waratah Brass, Warringah Concert Band and The Sydney Congress Hall Salvation Army Band.

In February 2005 we were pleased to support the Tsunami Appeal Concert featuring Pacific Brass, The Belles of Brass and The Sydney Male Choir.
